These are the words of HONORABLE CONSTANCIA P DE GUZMAN, Commissioner, NAPOLCOM and Co-Chairperson of the Integrity Committee of the National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development as part of her message as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the Trainers’ Training on Values Orientation, Family Values and Relationships conducted by the PNP Chaplain Service headed by its Director, REV FR (PSSUPT) DEODY O BARRET on February 20-21, 2013 at the Aguirre Hall, Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Crame.

Around forty participants representing different Inter-faith groups belonging to the Catholic, Evangelical and Islam and also guest observers and officers from the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (TDPRM), Center for Police Strategy Management (CPSM), PNP Training Service (PNP-TS) and the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) completed the said training on Family Values.

The 2-day workshop/training seminar was facilitated by Professor Jaime Cempron of De La Salle University. The workshops centered on identifying the priority values and goals of each participant and setting targets on how to apply and attain them in their work and in their lives. There was also a planning and goal setting activity wherein the participants were divided into two groups from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and the National Headquarters as they set targets for the succeeding cascading or re-echoing of this Family Values Program.

The training ended with the Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the participants and the PNP Chaplain Service and the PNP Multi-Faith Pastoral Council represented by REV FR (PSSUPT) DEODY O BARRET, Director, CHS and Chairman, Multi-Faith Pastoral Council; IMAM (PSUPT) EBRA M MOXSIR, Chief, Spiritual Ministry Division and Program Manager, Multi-Faith Pastoral Council; REV FR (PSUPT) JASON D ORTIZO, Catholic Base Chaplain and Budget/ Fiscal Officer and REV (PSUPT) ROMEO C NGOHO, Chief, Community Ministry Division and Evangelical Base Chaplain and witnessed by HONORABLE CONSTANCIA P DE GUZMAN

This MOA sets the rules in Cascading this program throughout the PNP including the regulations for accreditation or the cancellation of accreditation of Inter-Faith Groups and Individuals as part of LOI 17/10 “SUGO” (Spiritual Upliftment and Growth of the Organization).
