The following activities were conducted by the St Joseph Parish in Celebration of the Holy Week which was actively participated by PNP personnel and their dependents, civilian parishioners and lay faithful.

At about 5:00 p.m. Rev Fr (PLTCOL) ALEJO B DESPACIO JR, Parish Priest/Chief, Catholic Base officiated the Mass of the Lord’s Supper. The celebration commemorates the Institution of the Holy Eucharist and Washing of the Feet of the 12 Disciples of Jesus Christ. The 12 Disciples were acted by the PNP personnel of the 11 Directorates and HSS. From 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. St Joseph Parish held a vigil or hourly hour for PNP personnel, their dependents and civilian parishioners. An hourly schedule was sponsored by different offices of the PNP Headquarters. Parts of the hourly vigil were rosary, meditation, and bible reading/scripture reading.

On April 15, 2022, at 8:00 in the morning, the St Joseph Parish through Parish Priest Rev Fr DESPACIO JR led the Stations of the Cross around the camp. Each station was sponsored by the different offices/units of the PNP Headquarters, at about 3:00 p.m. he presided the Passion of the Lord/Veneration of the Cross and at about 4:15 in the afternoon, he spearheaded the procession of Santo Entierro and Our Lady of Sorrows around the Camp after the 2nd Day of the Paschal Triduum – Friday of the Passion of the Lord.

On April 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., Rev Fr (PLTCOL) ALEJO B DESPACIO JR, Parish Priest together with Rev Fr (PCPT) MARK RENZI S OGALESCO, Action PCO, presided the Easter Vigil Mass in the Holy Night. The easter vigil celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, renewal of baptismal promises, blessing of fire and water.
